Fees

The recommended fee schedule is set by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA). We aim to maintain a transparent and ethical approach to our practice, prioritizing the well-being and access to mental healthcare for all individuals. We are committed to providing high-quality services while remaining in line with industry standards. A reduced rate option may be provided, and is assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the individual's circumstances and the therapist’s capacity to take on additional clients at a reduced fee. Please don’t hesitate to ask us about our Reduced Rate Initiative.

Billing

Insurance Coverage

Although most insurance providers cover psychological services, every plan is still different. Therefore, we strongly suggest that clients check the terms and conditions of their insurance policies. This includes, but not limited to, the type of service being billed, the service provider’s designation, the daily maximum coverage, and so on.

Direct Billing

We are able to offer direct billing services to the following insurance providers: Alberta Blue Cross, Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), GreenShield, Medavie Blue Cross, Métis Nation of Alberta, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), SSQ, all providers under Telus Health/eClaims (the comprehensive list of insurers can be found here), third-party organizations through Children’s Services, and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).

Alternative Payment Options

You can choose from various payment methods to ensure a seamless experience, such as Credit or Debit Card payments, and E-transfers. Rest assured, we are actively striving to improve our payment options to better serve you.

Reimbursement

Receipts will be issued and provided to the clients to be used for reimbursement purposes. Please make sure to retain all copies of your receipts for up to the minimum duration indicated by your insurance provider. Please note that insurance providers typically do not offer reimbursement for charged appointments that have been marked as either "Late Cancel" or "No Show".
