Hannah Miller
Canadian Certified Counsellor

Hello! My name is Hannah. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I've always been curious about people and their stories, relationships, and the unique ways they experience the world. My work in the non-profit sector deepened this interest, giving me the opportunity to work alongside children and families with diverse stories and experiences.
In the therapy room, I love creating spaces where people feel comfortable to explore who they are, make sense of life's challenges, and discover new perspectives along the way. My hope is that clients leave sessions feeling understood, empowered, and maybe even sharing a laugh or two.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, who are constantly introducing me to new sports and activities ranging from hockey, pickleball, and soccer to Pokémon, finding new fishing spots and exploring the many parks around the city. In my own time I enjoy reading, staying active, and spending time with friends.

For over 10 years, I worked in the non-profit sector supporting children, youth, and families as they navigated complex personal, relational, and systemic challenges. This experience deepened my appreciation for the resilience people bring to difficult circumstances and sparked my passion for supporting others through counselling. This taught me that meaningful change rarely comes from having all the answers. Instead, it often begins with having a safe relationship where curiosity, compassion, and understanding can flourish. This perspective continues to guide the way I approach therapy today.
I continue to partner with non-profit organizations where I offer support to postpartum parents. I feel privileged to walk alongside parents as they navigate the ever-changing journey of raising children, strengthening the parent-child bond, and building confidence in their own parenting. I also enjoy creating a space where children and teens can better understand themselves, develop emotional regulation skills, build self-esteem, and discover that their emotions are something to understand rather than fear. My experience working within schools and alongside multidisciplinary teams has reinforced the importance of collaboration and meeting people where they are in their lives and helping them find direction in where they want to go.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person deserves a space where they feel understood, accepted, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
